This International Day of Peace, we look the US military’s toxic legacy on our planet. We encourage young people: if you want to help stop climate change, look for careers paths outside the US military. Not only can they be harmful to you and others in direct ways, but the infrastructure that supports war also supports the depletion and outright destruction of many of the world’s precious natural resources, and of our futures.
